3D Materials – Flexible filaments designed by Kimya
The Flexible grades are made of thermoplastic polyurethane, a material somewhere in between rubber and plastic. They are therefore ideal for printing flexible parts with solvent resistance.

Properties of Flexible-based 3D filaments
The Flexible grades require temperatures of at least 210°C. As the name suggests, they are flexible and absorb vibrations. It also offers resistance to impact and heat.

Compatible printers and the most common applications
The Flexible grades are compatible with most 3D printers. The printing profiles are therefore similar to PLA. They are therefore used to manufacture assembly parts, belts, hulls, everyday objects, functional prototypes and imitation rubber.
Points to note
It does not offer very good resistance to high temperatures and when in contact with chemicals. The print speed settings must therefore be adapted, and the most appropriate extruder type and wire drive mechanism must be selected.
