Kimya PETG-S 3D Filament

The 3D filament Kimya PETG-S is produced via copolymerization with PET. Polyethylene terephtalate glycol (PETG) is a saturated polyester polymer. It offers a perfect balance between flexibility and mechanical resistance and enables items to be produced with higher translucidity. Manufacturers use PET to produce bottles, food containers, credit cards and loyalty cards. The 3D filament Kimya PETG-S has the following properties:

  • Odorless
  • Offers a perfect balance between flexibility and mechanical properties
  • Food contact certified under EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR (natural color only)
  • Complies with the RoHS and REACH standards

2-year ARMOR warranty.

MISCELLANEOUS

Spool Material PC

PETG-S: A 3D filament from the Kimya range   Superior features PETG-S is an amorphous plastic and a terephthalate polymer to which glycol has been added. This filament has various characteristics:

  • No smell
  • High flexibility
  • Resistance to impact
  • Complies with food contact
  • Hydrophobe

The PETG-S offers the perfect compromise between flexibility and mechanical resistance. Finally, it’s not sensitive to moisture and therefore offers good adhesion between layers.   Bright colors and polychrome One of the advantages of PETG-S is its choice of colors available for vivid and multicolored 3D prints. This 3D filament is the first Kimya filament available in translucent color (red, yellow, blue, green and black).
